Armand's Antique Trunks -Fine Trunks since 1993

Rodeo Drive
Leather - Oak & Solid Brass

Pictures do not do this trunk justice.
Using an old beat up 1880's trunk, I completely stripped it down to the bare wood and started over. Since it was originally covered in leather I recovered it using upholstery leather in three different colors, burnt red, black and brown down the middle. Too many of the original brass tacks were missing so I improvised and used all new ones.
The hardware patent date, (Dec.1877) is still visible on some of the cast steel hardware. We managed to find a key for the lock and it works fine, just not suitable as a strong box.

The interior is covered in a plum colored fabric and has been fitted with a new 3 compartment tray with removable felt liners.  The two compartments on the ends can be used to store your CD's
